Werkzeugbau Ruhla GmbH designs and manufactures injection molds with unscrewing systems, specifically developed for the production of plastic components with internal threads. The unscrewing unit is a precise mechanical system that is automatically activated during the injection molding cycle. After injection and cooling, the unit is driven electrically, pneumatically or hydraulically to gently unscrew the finished part from the cavity — without damaging the thread. This process ensures high repeat accuracy, long tool life, and gentle demolding — particularly important for fine threads and delicate components.
